Great for any pillar candles or melts.
Aura Wax takes colour beautifully (see images)
It has an excellent hot and cold scent throw.
NON-GREASY, perfect all year round, especially in the summer months.
Aura Wax is a 100% pure plant wax.
- Melt point : 60 degrees Celsius
- Uses: Pillar candles
- Pour Temperature: Pour hot for a shinier finish- around 85 degrees Celsius.
- Fragrance: 5-8% is recommended, however we recommend starting at 5% as the cold and hot scent throw is VERY good.
Aura is a nice hard wax, however if you wish to slow down the burn further, you can go down a size of wick, or add 1% Finishing Beads (that's 10gm for 1kg of Aura)

This is the first time I've worked with this wax, and I must say, I'm impressed. First, it was great value - I bought the 25kg bag, and the price was unbeatable. The things I love most are that it sets hard, it is not oily and sticky, and it has a great scent throw. It also takes colour very well, rich and not faded. The only thing I found challenging was getting a glossy finish, regardless of what temperature I poured at, and it really sticks to silicone moulds, so careful removal is required. However, I discovered that taking a polishing cloth to it gives it a beautiful glossy finish - you can't do that with soy wax. Overall, this is a great performing wax, and I will continue to use it.

I made some candles for my sister with this wax and two different shapes of hard moulds. They came out beautifully. She also liked the chamomile and grapefruit scent that I used for them.
We both like the fact that this is a plant based alternative.
Very happy on all counts. I just need to be aware of keeping a bit of extra wax to fill the “wells” when the wax hardens.
