UV Light Absorber Block

All dyes are somewhat susceptible to photodegradation when exposed to UV light, which can come from sunlight or from artificial lights. The UV stabiliser works by absorbing the high-energy UV photons and effectively converting them. This process prevents the UV light from breaking the chemical bonds in the dyes, which protects the colour.

In addition to protecting the colour, it can also help maintain the structure of the wax itself. Prolonged exposure to UV light can cause the wax to become brittle or start to break down. With the UV stabiliser, the wax remains stable for a longer period.

It’s particularly important for candles that are displayed in places with high UV exposure, such as near windows or in outdoor settings, or in store lighting.
