    Musky and pleasant

I wasn't sure what to expect with this one, but it is quite pleasant. The muskiness is mysterious and enticing- reminds me a bit of nag champa- but it does have a bit of a "perfumy" or slightly "chemically"/ artificial edge to it. That being said, I'm going purely by how it smells straight out of the bottle.... and it IS a synthetic fragrance, so it's not realistic to expect it to smell like something you've just extracted from a tree. I'd be interested to see how it smells in a candle after the curing process.

All in all, it's not unpleasing to the nose. Really smells like a good quality cologne or something, so if this was something someone was trying to achieve in a candle it'd be perfect. Whilst I personally prefer more "natural" smelling scents without an obvious synthetic edge ( and some synthetic fragrances achieve this more successfully than others), it's quite nice overall, and will really appeal to those looking for a musky, masculine scent.

Thank you for this great review! We would love to hear from you once your candle is made! It definitely is more natural once settled into wax, compared to straight out of the bottle. x
