Make scented candles using beeswax in containers
February 02, 2018
Beeswax candles are lovely - in glass though you may like to reduce the melt temperature of the wax by adding some
container maker or
coconut wax. This means you can use a smaller flame, less heat is required.
Fragrance can be added, you will need to try different ones to see what is suitable against the natural honey scent. The Australian beeswax has the nicest honey smell, the beaded ones are more refined and do not have this - they may be easier to fragrance.
You will find our wick guide on the site, but be aware that you will probably be using 1-2 sizes up, depending on your mixture.
